Montblanc International is now the company behind the infamous Mont Blanc pens, but in the beginning was the name Simplo Filler Pen Company. This company was founded in 1906, about a partnership started by three men: Claus-Johannes Voss, August Eberstein and Alfred Nehemiah.
The first was as the flagship of Rouge Et Noir in 1909 known. The next few years they would create the first Mont Blanc pens. The company in brief, the trademarked name of "Mont Blanc" and then all the pins have been created by the company, published under that name.
In 1913, one of the most famous pin was released, which collectors to see how the "snowflake". The Montblanc Star brand has become a hero, and was one of the pins to start the company in disgrace.

With this big emphasis on the marketing of Mont Blanc, it has some setback, however, were among collectors. Recent Polls show that many collectors feel Montblanc is based on marketing, and the quality of the brand has diminished. Only 5% of the collectors was that the brand actually improves the quality, while only 19% believed that they had claimed.
The next few years I expect Montblanc is a challenge on their hands pleasers, the collector-base who, while still relying on the profitability of the company.
